This page serves as the official archive for the $TATR project and the Social Liquidity Mining protocol.
An early social finance (SocialFi) protocol experiment rewarding art distribution through peer-to-peer engagement. Designed to incentivize connection, not just capital.
Filed as a provisional patent in 2021. Intentionally abandoned to support an open, decentralized, protocol-first ethos
I launched the SLM protocol in 2020 as an experiment. In 2021, I filed a provisional patent but later abandoned it in favor of a protocol-first, open-source ethos.
I didn’t invent SocialFi, but after working in traditional social media and tokenizing my artwork onchain, I recognized early signals, anticipated what might come next, and started building. I developed SLM as a novel mechanism for rewarding peer-to-peer participation.
The space wasn’t ready yet. It would be another two years before platforms like Farcaster, Lens Protocol, and Friend.Tech began to emerge.
